The most basic model in the "Performance Line," a line for sports and active scenes.
Sweat-sensitive cooling prints help athletes perform better in hot and humid environments.
■Triple cooling technology
By applying a cooling print to the contact-cooling fabric, the three cooling effects of vaporization heat, contact, and printing are demonstrated.
Ice Attack wear specially designed to combat extreme heat
■Sweat and wind keep you cool
The entire lining is coated with a special material containing erythritol and xylitol.
When this print-treated fabric absorbs moisture (sweat) generated from human skin, its heat-absorbing properties lower the temperature of the fabric, giving it a cooling sensation.
In addition, the wind can make the cold sensation even stronger.
FREEZE TECH conducts a variety of coolness comparison tests.
[Cooling performance]
■FreezeTech processed fabrics react with water to lower temperatures!
Test Contents:
A hot plate was set to 33 degrees Celsius (reproducing a pseudo skin surface temperature), on which a common contact-cooling fabric and a FreezeTech print fabric were placed, and the temperature change was photographed with a drop of water instead of sweat.
(From a thermographic coolness test conducted on October 31, 2016)
■ Compared to general contact cooling fabrics, Freeze-Tech print processed fabrics provide an additional -1.4 degree Celsius cooling sensation!
Test Contents:
A specimen folded in two is used as a test piece, and a temperature sensor is placed in the center of the folded inside.
About 0.2 ML of water was dropped onto the center of the specimen (above the sensor) in an atmosphere of about 34°C, and the temperature of the wetted area was measured for 10 minutes.
(From a cool-feeling performance evaluation of cool prints, conducted on January 7, 2016)
■Being exposed to the wind further enhances the cooling sensation!
Test Contents:
A heat environment was created (an artificial weather chamber (sub-chamber) with a constant temperature of 28°C and relative humidity of 60%) and reproduced by having two healthy male subjects perform the specified exercise on an aerobike for 20 minutes.
When airflow was applied 15 minutes after the start of the experiment, both the temperature in the garment and the relative humidity in the garment were noticeably lower than immediately before that.
(From the "Toward Zero Heat Stroke" Project Comparison Experiment Report (2019) between FREEZE TECH and summer innerwear for hot environments and exercise.)
*Results when wearing FREEZE TECH cold shirt long sleeve crew neck
[Washing durability performance]
■Even after repeated washing, the cold print performance is maintained!
(as long as the print is adhered to the fabric)
Test Contents:
After the fabric was washed 50 times, the sample was folded in two and a temperature sensor was placed in the center of the folded inside as a test piece.
About 0.2 ML of water was dropped onto the center of the specimen (above the sensor) in an atmosphere of about 34°C, and the temperature of the wetted area was measured for 10 minutes.
