I bought an unnamed Manufacturer's STAND, but when I tried to lift it, it wouldn't go up at all, and I wondered if it would go up if it was a proper one. So I bought a new one.
As you mentioned, I was able to lift the bike as if I was STANDING a bike, and I was Big Li.
I use it for ChainMaintenance and Oil changes and other home maintenance, but I love it because I can use it on my own with no problem.
I also like the fact that you can change the STAND receiver to an L-shape or U-shape when you have a chance to remove the Tire and use it for a long time.
