I would caution anyone considering these grips. These are not up to the usually expected Japanese build quality. I purchased this set during the winter months in the Northeast USA and did not connect them to a battery to test them during the 30 day return period. When I did test them, I found that the switch that was built into the left grip was not working. I contacted Webike and was told that they could do nothing about it. I inquired to see if I could purchase a replacement left grip and was told that there was nothing that they could do. So now I have a set of regular grips that cost me $107.00 USD.
These grips are not up to the expected Japanese electronics quality. The built in switch did not work on mine and since I did not report this until past 30 days, I only have a very expensive pair of regular grips.View Detail
[How is it used?
From light riding to long distance touring
Was the one you received as per Image?
Street Image
How was your experience with it?
Large satisfied
[Points to note]
As long as you leave enough room for Wiring when you bend the Handlebar all the way, you should be fine.
How did it compare to other products?
Good because the Grip thickness is almost the same as OEM.
Other items that would be helpful
I would like to be able to purchase only the One Side Grip, but I would like the Gold amount to be lower.View Detail
I installed it for the winter.
The price of OEM is too high, so I decided to use an external one. I have used KIJIMA for different motorcycles and this time I chose DAYTONA. The other reason why I chose DAYTONA is because the temperature is higher.
It's good that the Switch is integrated, but it's hard to push when you're wearing Gloves, but it was easy not to have to attach the Switch separately.View Detail
Sorry about the pictures.
I was working on one change and forgot to take a picture with the Griehee Single Body. You can see Grihi at the back of Han Cover.
[How is it used?
It's very useful for commuting in winter.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The size is so compact that you won't even notice it has a grip heater;
How was your experience with it?
It's generally good.
[Points to note]
The KIJIMA model can be activated with one click, but the DAYTONA model requires a long press.
I didn't notice it at first and thought it was not energized! I was so quick to assume that it wasn't energized that I took the exterior apart again lol.
How did it compare to other products?
Last year I was using a KIJIMA, but it was broken in the off-season and water got into it and it was broken.
It becomes a replacement from there, but the first feature is its Smallness! It feels One sizeSmall, and the consideration which doesn't make Switch stand out can be felt.
The only thing is that it's hard to press it when you're wearing a …Han Cover.
The warmth is about the same as the KIJIMA, but when I use the MAX temperature with my bare hands, it is too hot to grip. I think it is a nice problem in winter, but I want to use it with thin Inner Gloves.
It is the same evaluation as the one made by KIJIMA, but when I grip the Grip with my bare hand, the Edge hits and hurts.
The grip is designed to be easy to grip even with thick gloves. However, it is hard to grip for NAKED HandRider who is not conscious. (It seems to be hard even with thin gloves like the ones worn by taxi drivers.View Detail
When I rode in a car with a Grip heater during the cold season, it was very comfortable, so I decided to install it in my own car as well.
You can adjust the warmth on four levels, but as long as you're riding at about 10 degrees outside, the Gloves for spring to fall are OK at their weakest.
Knuckle guard and Quantity:If you set it, it may be OK in the middle of winter.
Installation is easy, but if you want to get it from the Attachment power supply under the Seat, it's too short for the STD, so I needed an extension.
The Switch is neat to look at because it has a built-in Grip, but on the other hand, it's hard to push when you're in Gloves, which makes it difficult for me to operate it while driving.
The Grip is not thicker than the OEM product and does not feel uncomfortable.
It's hard to say how I would rate it in terms of design, because it varies from person to person, but I think it's a bit more....
If we're talking about costumes, the Switch separate type is cheaper, including other manufacturers, so I'll give it a deduction of 1 point.
However, I will use it conveniently as a necessity in the winter as there is no substitute for comfort.
