This is probably the most the most valuable upgrade I made to my Kawasaki W800 (and I made a few!) There are objective limits to what you can achieve on antiquated bike with thin tyres, and these shocks get you an absolute maximum you can get. I really like the fact they are in keeping with the original style, however you see the difference right away. Much more sturdy, beautifully machined and feel a class above when you ride. Could not be happier. I have uploaded a photo picture of this shock against the original one - very telling. If you are unsure what choose for your W800 - get these. A lot more for your money than certain European made. KYB and Webike do not disappoint.

It is a good product. I didn't notice any large changes in the normal, relaxed touring, but I feel that the design, price, and performance are well integrated in a good way.
Even though it was replaced with an external one, the calm design of the W800 did not fail, and it became one point in a good way. The rebound side damping can be adjusted in 4 steps, so I set it to 2 as others have done.
Although not recommended, you can install it yourself with a Center Stand and some tools.
We believe that there are products that are above the rest, but we can recommend them to those who want a calm design and a solid, domestic product.View Detail
I installed this on my 2020 W800Standard. I've been thinking about changing the suspension since the beginning because I'm not happy with the ride quality. I was hesitant to ask myself how much improvement I can actually expect with just the rear suspension. But when I actually put it on and drove it, it changed from etc.Pitch to Spring of non-etc.Pitch. The effect is felt as soon as you start driving, the thrust of the fine road seams is almost gone and the It's very comfortable. The thing that impressed me the most was how stable it was when overtaking, without getting flattened by the ruts in the road!
Next, I brought the W800 to the mountain road where the Curve continues, but when accelerating and decelerating, the Damper It supports me moderately and reduces postural changes, making Cornering fun. It is a pretty good suspension. I think the Balance between price and performance is very excellent. It's just designed for each car model.

I bought it used and it came with OEM but it was worn out so I got an external one. The usual way is to put in a Haygon or Icon, but I decided to go with KYB's because it's a good OEM manufacturer. There was no hardness, which is often the case outside the company, and there was a good amount of dumping. I also like that the damping is adjustable.

I also have a TGS350B but this is for the 750Class. TGS350 is designed for Z400FX, so the spring rate is adjusted to the weight of the vehicle. I've been using it for 10 years now, and so far it hasn't pulled out or leaked, and it seems to be maintaining most of the performance it had when I bought it. I think it is resistant to corrosion and Rust as long as it is not exposed to rain. The only disappointment would be the color. The Body is Silver, so you may choose the body color. If you have a darker body color, you may want to repaint the Shock as it will look a little floaty. It looks like the Spring's paint won't peel off like the common Chinese Shock. I think it is the best matching with the unreinforced body when you fly at a so-so pace.View Detail
Ok, I wanted a Givi pannier rack but I did not like the look of their top box on a W800. My challenge was however, that with the Givi pannier rack in place, I could not find a quality luggage rack to fit. After some careful examination of the photos I decided to take the plunge and happy I did! It is a very well made piece of kit and it clears the Givi rack perfectly. Had to cut the spacers a bit, but it's a 5-minute job, overall very happy with the results and cannot be happier with the rack itself. What a great buy!View Detail
This is an excellent product. I am installing a plush comfort seat which is slightly higher, and with these bars the geometry is perfect for touring. Quality is top notch. Everything is very well made, everything fits and well thought through. I would not try to install it unless you are capable enough to build the bike ground up. On mine, tank and light had to come off on top of obvious cables, break lines, etc. 4 hour job easily. If you are anything less than a master, give it to your trusted mechanic and pay accordingly. In case of W800, it is just how the bike is laid out, not a a fault of this product. In fact, because of everything fits so well, Hurricane have made it as easy as at all possible for this Kawasaki.
